ABANDONED

These images are taken near San Francisco's historic Pier 70, and are meant to capture the sense of abandonment of the formerly thriving Port. They carry a chilling, ethereal quality of the past, drained of life and frozen in time.

 
Sea shells washed up on shore---resembling the ebb and flow of the Pacific and the power of change outside of humans' control. I wonder where these shells came from?
