Donald Robertson, or as his cheeky Instagram handle @donalddrawbertson indicates, has been taking the fashion world by storm. His fun, pop-art meets whimsy fashion illustrations have been gracing the covers of Vogue around the world. Not necessarily a "break out" sensation in an industry where who you know is your ticket, Robertson splits time between his early morning studio sessions, his 5 kids, and, oh ya, his full-time gig as Director of Creative Development for Bobbi Brown. He is exceptionally talented and his art never leaves you with anything but a brighter day ahead. I'll be curious to see if illustrators begin making a comeback in the world of cover art, even if just for a moment.
