Universe Beach House :: Tatiana Bilbao

The unique design for this home off the shores of Mexico stemmed from Tatiana Bilbao's goal of celebrating the surroundings without infringing on the breathtaking views or interrupting the landscape. Partnering with artist Gabriel Orozco(responsible for the design of the rooftop pool), Bilbao constructed a residence with a similar layout to that of a camp. Each space is meant to be separate and different, yet interconnected, with the pool acting as a place of gathering, almost like a campfire would.
